Loved the Valley Isle Resort! Views were amazing from our 6th floor ocean facing room. Clean perfect sized rooms. Could see whales and Turtles from patio. Location was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful sunset views, rooms can vary in furnishings, no sign of any bugs, beautifully landscaped campus, and the support staff is amazing. There is a sister property next door with a beach bar called the Beach House. The best pizza on the island is at Dollys across the street. The pool is nice, clean and opens at 9:00am.
Great location and walking to a market, bar, gas station and food.
The room we stayed in was a dump. The beds are horribly uncomfortable, the shower rod was drooping, the couches are uncomfortable and one of them had a spring broken so it was even worse to sit on.
The view was great. Access to the beach is easy.
The pool is tiny and there was no AC in the room. I sweat all night
Scored a unit on a corner. Amazing views and quiet. All you could hear were the crashing waves. Plentiful parking, easy check-in, nice lobby and gardens. Our unit was managed by Vacasa and they were responsive to work with.
This is not an actual resort, I'm sorry. Let's start with the fact that I was already on Maui and moving Here, I had volunteer duties for most of the day so wasn't sure. I could make it by the 5 o'clock Check in deadline when the Front desk closes. I ask if I could have an early check in. I was told no. Not a big deal. I explained the situation and asked if I could come by register and get my key card,, I wouldn't use it until after 4. I was told that that was not possible. I again explained that I may not be there before 5 and had heard horror stories about the call in check in. I was told I could call between 4 and 5 and be given the code for the lockbox. Where my key card would be. Having read the reviews and comments that the code to the lockbox didn't always work. That did not seem like the best solution. I ended up leaving my volunteer duties early to make it to the Location before 5. Upon checking, I was given my one beach towel. I asked for another tell as I like to have 1 to lie on and when to dry off with. I was told no I was only allowed 1 towel for my entire stay, meaning the same towel. If it gets dirty, which it will as I just have one, I'll have to wash it myself. In the unit the bedroom light does not work. There is no AC. The front door opens to an open air hallway. It has a locking screen door with iron grate. Having it and sliding door open creates a cross breeze but privacy is lost since the door is right on the hallway. Also the sliding door had no lock or grate. I was only 1/2 sorry above ground, even though it was called the 2nd floor, so did not feel safe leaving sliding open at night or when out. There is one stand up fan in the unit. I set up by bedroom window, it also faces the open air hallway like the door so having window open creates a privacy issue. The fan was supposed to osolate but got stuck every time and made a loud repeated noise. No sleeping with that happening. The is no closet in the bedroom. There is one in the open ( no door) part of the bath area. If some one was sleeping on the murphey bed in the living room the closet is in full view. So I guess all clothes must be obtained the night before or some kind of exposure is going to happen. The kitchen is a full kitchen but worn and dated. The carpet does not seem clean and the bedroom smells kind of stale and funky. The building is right on the ocean and the view is very good. However giant sand bags, due to shoreline erosen, prevent direct access to the beach from most of the property. Worldmark is not renewing the lease on the units here which I think is a good call on their part. After March or April 2024 worldmark will have no presence here. I do not think worldmark has the highest standards, a lot of their properties could use a refresh. But the units and service here are well below their standards. One will still be able to rent indivually owned and decorated units. I am sure they vary in quality. Even a really nice unit here will not turn this place into a resort.
Stayed in unit 607 owned by Kay and Vijay Madnani-simply wonderful. The hosts are so warm kind. We rented unit 607 from them (their studio condo). Our second visit with them, stayed in the 2 bedroom last time which they no longer own but …
room 809 has a fantastic view of the ocean and Molokai, beautiful sunsets and great for whale watching. Don't let the high floor put you off, there are 2 elevators that are pretty quick, so accessing the beach was easy. Beach was clean and quiet, never crowded (April 1-9). Room is a little bit dated but still good value, I would stay again. Gets a bit warm in the late afternoon to sit on the lanai, but worth it for the view and sunsets
There was a mouse in our room on our first day of our anniversary trip. After a few hours they put a sticky trap and when the mouse was caught they said they would need us to wait until the next day for them to retrieve it.
